A great ski tour in the south part of the Troll Trail, a continuously marked ski trail from Rondane National Park to Lillehammer. Starts with two days of excellent skiing at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane.
At Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane, in the forecourt of the National Park Rondane, you can get accustomed to the equipment and the snow conditions. Venabygsfellet offers nice skiing on and off the groomed tracks.
The tour runs from open mountain terrain in the north, through friendly terrain, to the Olympic city of Lillehammer in the south. The Rondane massif is a nice scenery in the background. The route crosses Øksendalen, continues past mountain farms on Øyerfjellet, and further on to Nordseter, Sjusjøen and Lillehammer.
You pass through varied terrain with open areas and woodland. The trail runs mostly in well-maintained tracks, but sometimes you will have short distances where the trails are not so good. This trip fits experienced skiers. Good touring skis/ normal cross-country skis are recommended.
